If you only need to replace the sheave/ sheave box, purchase the H310 and reuse your existing cover plate. If you need a new cover plate only, purchase H310FARR30 (modified cover plate and sheave box complete). The sheaves in both boxes are intended for a maximum wire/line diameter of 3/16”, so you might find that 5/16” double braid halyards stripped to their ~3/16” (smaller) cores will run better. Photos show the standard Harken cover plate and the custom plate with the stainless steel bar bent around and welded to the plate.
